Instructions for Students on Academic Warning

Please fill out this form to help develop your academic plan for the spring 2025 semester. Your responses will help your First-Year Advisor understand your circumstances, guide you on returning to Good Academic Standing, and ensure you meet any requirements (e.g., Satisfactory Academic Progress for financial aid recipients).

If your TXST GPA is between 1.75 and 1.99:

Completing this form is the only requirement for removing your advising hold. After submitting, a First-Year Advisor will review your responses and email you details on the quality points needed to return to Good Academic Standing and any recommended course modifications.

If your TXST GPA is 1.74 or below:

This form is the first step. After submitting, you must schedule and attend an appointment with a First-Year Advisor to fully remove your hold.
